I know it was laughed at earlier for Canucks deciding to meet with Matthews, but when you look at the high draft picks that have been traded in the past while and some that are in the rumours now (like former 1OA Yak), its a free opportunity to get to know a few of the players.
Like JB said, its a good chance to see what makes them tick that might also help competing against them. I appreciate the diligence he puts into his work |

You'll be able to read it on the Conn Smythe when he wins the Conn Smythe unanimously |

I doubt Bon wins it - altho there is an argument to be made but I'd say Kessel, Crosby or Murray got the Conn - Pitts have done a great job of spreading the scoring out evenly - we'll see |

He will win it, don't you know that bones has Ice water in his veins and is a stone cold assassin who scores game winners at will.

Conn Smythe should go to Pavelski or Burns regardless of which team wins the cup. |

Depending on how the finals go, Murray should be considered. |

He is actually not very far down the Pens list of potential CS choices (according to people in the Pens thread during WSH series).
Just because you could only trade him for "a potential first line center in Sutter" doesn't mean all of you Nucks fans need to look at his playoff success with a chip on your shoulder like it is somehow going to make that trade any less of win for the Pens.

What's the issue here Ron, your first statement is fine, the second is being a wienerhead, trying to stir poop up, go play in the leafs or oilers thread |

Because he is a wienerhead.....his team never making it past round 2 ever may have something to do with that.... |

My issue is so many people in Carol's thread pissing on Bonino's playoff success just to make themselves feel better about the trade. If you can't see that then I don't know what you are reading.
I am trying to encourage people to embrace reality and move on without having to make up complete bullpoop to avoid accepting an uncomfortable reality (i.e., Bonino's recent success). Instead all we see is excuses about how poopty Bonino is and ridiculous mockery about how he is going to command $8M next season blah blah blah.
If encouraging people to act like adults is me being a wienerhead then sign me up...
What's so wrong with me criticizing people's biased outlooks? Maybe I over-generalized a bit too much (some Nucks fans here seem to have a more grounded perception).
Is this becoming a safe-space similar to JJ's thread free from any outside criticism?
Not the first time that comparison has been made by me or many others. |

Classy pal, go straight to the name-calling instead of trying to form an appropriate response.
I'm sure if I did the same to you I would be flagged and banned by Makita in less than an hour.
