Agree. My wife watches Ellen, and she has some clever lines from time to time.

Could be worse, my wife watches Real Housewives, makes me want to shoot either myself, her, or the TV!

I can honestly say that she doesn't watch many trash shows, although I have seen her watch Access Hollywood at times. She mostly does the HGTV reno shows and shows that involve people losing weight.

I love Bill Burr. Also Sebastian Maniscalco makes me laugh uncontrollably as well.

Conner Bleackley has done nothing but regressed (offensively) each year since he was picked. Seems like a bit of a project more than a legit prospect.
- jmatchett383

not sure that is a fair comparison. He also has played less games since he was picked. his ppg isn't that far off.

I don't know much about him. maybe worth a shot, maybe he isn't.

Dave Chapelle is a current comic?

Also, I want to punch Anthony Jeselnik in the face. He confuses being funny with being a douchebag.

He put up 68 points in 71 games his draft year. He then put up a pro-rated 68 points per 71 games the next year and a pro-rated 59 per 71 games this year. So while he hasn't GREATLY regressed, he hasn't really improved, either. Smart move to take the 2nd rounder. If he goes to UFA, could be a good AHL filler to start.

Ah, gotcha. I currently enjoy Mitch Hedberg, despite the fact that he hasn't put out any new material in the last few years, slacker!

Like him as a player (just like I really dig Frans Nielsen), but IMO the Flyers should be using any open bottom-six/bottom-pair openings to audition kids at this point. See if Cousins, or Laughton, or somebody else doesn't grow into the role instead.
- Tomahawk

I don't necessarily disagree with this, but here is the issue as I see it. I don't see the coach trusting Cousins or Laughton, at least in the early or first half of the season with any ice time in key situations, such as important D zone draws, or on the PK. Which would mean that Giroux would continue to have a heavy load of D zone faceoffs and PK time. In my opinion, Giroux is wearing down as the season goes on, with those responsibilities. I think if it continues, it will have an effect on his level of player, the older he gets. I think the Flyers desperately need another veteran center, for the right price, who can take a lot of those responsibilities off of Giroux. It will be beneficial to Giroux in the long run.

Oh, absolutely.

The difference is, I don't get paid, go on tour, and get put on TV for it.

Also, way to make it seem like I called Dave Chappelle a douchebag.

I wouldn't mind a cheap vet center. I wonder if Patrik Elias could be an option. Reliable two way player. I know older but can play center or wing.

Vernon Fiddler
Shawn Matthias(probably not a one year deal or super cheap)
Trevor Lewis
Backes(depends on money and years, probably too much and many for Flyers)

List of free agent centers available this off season.

There are a few I would be interested in if the price were right. One of them is Mike Richards.

I know.

Not many options I really like. I like Neilsen but I think he is going to cost too much.

I wouldn't mind looking at a RFA who doesn't get a QO. Alex Chaisson would interest me as a big 3rd line winger.

You think with the Blackhawks having some cap issue maybe you can move a cheaper Laughton and 2nd rounder for a player like Shaw whose an RFA? Shaw could be your 3rd line center and also a solid PP player.

I dont care to trade a player picked in the first round who just turned 22 for someone who is a 3rd liner
