His team really sucked

I cant explain why but I was never a boxing fan but I never missed one of his fights. I was around seven years old listening in bed on the radio to some loud mouth called
Clay.

The public hated him and his poetry. They hated when he changed religions and his name. They called him a coward who was afraid to die in war instead of seeing his peace for the world.

It was when he linked up with Cossell that both became epic.Ali rallied the continent of Africa as their own hero.

When the hostage taking of Iran was in full swing Ali was allowed in to talk to world leaders.

His epic battles and his being different grew him into one of the most known faces and names on the planet.

I cant explain why but I was a seven year old kid that wasn't a boxing fan , but I was a lifetime Ali fan.

I am actually rooting for Pedan. He's big and fast. All he needs is to be a little more defensively responsible and start making a good 1st pass and patience in our own end. I am pretty sure he won the fastest skater. Correct me if i am wrong.

Pedan is redundant with Guddy and Tree, hopefully he gets better and has some trade value. We need a pp QB still, I think JB takes a stab at one as Larsen is far from a sure thing. Looking forward to see what winger JB brings in, Ladd and Brouwer are getting a little long in the tooth imo but there's just not that many out there. Seems Lucic is still the best option to me, but I understand th hate. Lucic would finalize our lineup as a pretty complete transition from the soft team of the past

I would prefer the younger cheaper McGinn and I agree there will be another trade before the draft. It will be to recoup a second and I see a move for another Dman

I totally disagree. Big defence man that can skate is not at all redundant. Smart move is to keep him and see who pushes who out of a job. JB has created competition in the back end.

For the right price any would be a good idea. I figure by July 5 we will see more of what the team will look like. I would rather see us not sign any if the price isn't right. Other than Stamkos if he is available you pull out the pocket book for a guy like that.

Please share some stories. I'm in my 30's but would like to more about a legend

George Chuvalo (one of the greatest CDN heavyweights ever) fought Ali a few times and Ali won both decisions. Funny story is though Ali always said Chuvalo may have been the toughest guy he ever fought. Chuvalo lost handily on the scorecards but just kept coming at Ali. Ali on more than one occasion said he just couldn't believe the pounding Chuvalo could take and keep coming. Ali also said one time that if one of the fights vs Chuvalo went to a 16th round he would have lost. Chuvalo was pounding him hard to the body and apparently Ali had rib damage for weeks after and could barely walk…Chuvalo after that fight went dancing with his wife lol…true story…

Also Spizza hasn't played a full season since 2012. Guy is injury prone now like Hammer. I think we will be lucky to see 50 games from Spizza this season. Hopefully Hammer is gone or playing in the 5-6 role for 1.2 mil...
