Still missing the point. Buffalo itself would get equal to or more than viewership then half the league. Because it would get high rating from its own state plus general intrigue from Boston for Eichel. It would surely get the same ratings nationally then Minnesota, Carolina, Dallas, Colorado etc.

NBC absolutely sucks donkey Richard when it comes to being a fourth rate network. They used to have the best shows on TV. ER, Seinfeld, original Law & Order, Frasier, Friends and on and on. It really was "must see TV". But sometime after Seinfeld went off the air it started going downhill, then we hit the "late night wars redux" and we saw just how poorly it was run. And now, it's nothing more than a joke.

You mean Rio, don't you? I was confused for a second. Fake Olympics? I believe they have them for some time to come as well. But it's also momentum at this point. They haven't (frank)ed it up, yet, so they'll keep going with the same people. Why risk switching to CBS who don't have any experience covering an event like the Olympics even though they might, probably would, do a better job? They (IOC, and the vast majority of companies) are not in the business of taking risks.

And the Olympics are but once every two years. You can't run a network because you get a big contract every two years.

Yeah every team since then has played multiple winter classics, but no love for Buffalo. I guess you can understand though because we were terrible.

I don't watch much tv, but I'd have to say AMC is the best channel these days. They always have great shows, and some throwback cowboy movies mixed in.

Silicon Valley is great but not for everyone. HBO lost a lot of its great shows over the last couple of years. I can't believe that trash Girls show is still on..
