Holy Chicken Little Batman, did the sky just fall?
Why does anybody even follow this team? I have never seen a more negative group of people in my life.

you should stop by after we make a trade or lose a few games. Thats where the real fun is.

We used to be number one in prospects rankings in the NHL

Times have changed we are most likely almost last now

Time to restock

Anyone watching the game tonight? the Sharks have one play, win it down low then throw it to Burns for a one T and crash the net. The Penguins have that quick transition game but can't get the puck to the middle of the ice at all.
I feel like this series is going to be won by the team that can stay mentally disciplined for 60+ minutes each game, they're both so talented.

It's depressing because when you're watching the game you're saying poop our team is far away .. but it's been an exciting playoffs and the series has been exciting so far

Very true the Sabres are finally starting to show flashes of play that bring back that confidence I use to have in them, all we can do is have patience and believe that GMTM keeps to his words "we try to get better every day"

It's probably just me, but leaping from a bridge is far better than the sky falling in my book.

I don't know the sky falling would be pretty cool to see
You get to see something you'll never see again in your life before you die I think I'll take that

You realize the reason right? When you have Eichel, Reinhart, McCabe, Ristolainen as top notch (or steady in McCabe's case) guys on your NHL roster that have been drafted in the last handful of years it means you're doing pretty ok prospect wise. I'm being facetious. They're doing pretty awesome. It's an illusion that the pipeline is dry. The players we have on the roster are very young. It's not like we're Boston or Vancouver where we have a roster where our top 6 F and top 4 D averages 56 years old.

Edit: Typo.

Since you were cool about sharing your link. I'm totally going to let that slide. And just say this. Every time you look outside the "sky" has already fallen. The "sky" is from the surface of the Earth whether that happens to be atop Mt Everest, or sea level, or all the way down at the Dead Sea, to about 800ish miles into space. The sky can't fall, because it already has.

"Sky" that's a weird word. What's it called when a word, through, repetition loses all meaning? I can't remember.

I looked it up, it's called "semantic satiation". Try it, say "sky" or "dog" and just repeat it over and over, preferably in public those people staring are just jealous. Eventually the word will completely lose its meaning and sound like gibberish.

Well, I guess an explosion would do that. It just compresses the air and if you're close enough and it's big enough it'll hit the air in your body cavities, sinuses, lungs, gut etc.. and the massive difference in air pressure will turn your insides to jelly.

CBC just showed the (frank)ing no goal again. Bastards. At least it wasn't the overhead view.

I'm working in Manhattan at the moment, no one will care if I start blurting out one word over and over again. But you're right, I do that all the time to fight off what sounds intimidating to me and it works every time.

Do you a have CBC link?

I use the m3u8 from the big table near the top of the page. If you've got an internet ready device he tells you how you can watch it.
