It's one thing to get along during a tourny on a studded Canadian squad, and totally another thing to get along on a NHL team. Colorado tried it, it didn't work, I wouldn't follow their mistakes.

I think he's just a little too long in the tooth for my liking. You never know though...some of these guys take phenomenal care of their bodies.

That is 5 yrs old.

I'd guess the values may have changed a bit.

The first one I posted here: http://www.tsn.ca/statist...-nhl-draft-picks-1.317819 is much more comprehensive and a little easier to understand. And it's only a year old, granted it uses data from 1990 to 2010. Because it's hard to evaluate everyone newer than that. Some guys it's a no brainer, but there are a ton of guys like Zadorov for example who could go either way.

It's interesting to see that every once in a while the hype doesn't pay off.

And for those who don't feel like reading the long article a "7" is a top 6 F or a top 4 D and a "5" is an NHL regular with 350+ total games played. But you should it's quite interesting and educational.

But I agree I think it would be foolhardy at best to make a move for Duchene. And they only disagreed about money eh Gerbe? That's the number one thing couples fight about. And make no mistake an NHL team is very comparable to a marriage/relationship. Money is the number one motive for murder either, directly or indirectly. Other than domestic murders and then it usually stems from money issues.
