Black Book is very fair. They also have a bunch of quotes from NHL scouts and the like in it...sometimes brutal, sometimes hilarious. Nothing I hate more than sugar coated scouting like you read from every Internet blurb. This book is nice.

You know I'm not locked in, but he's my leader at the top of the stretch. Just love his game. So smart, gets that shot off so fast & he's a pain in the balls to play against. Good playmaker, too.

After your text about Gauthier, I spent a good hour hunting down video of him. I get why some of the luster is off. He scored a lot of 2 foot goals. I mean that's great, but there's not a lot out there on the web where he's sniping away like a madman. He does move well for a big guy, though.

Velasquez getting hurt has me way more pissed about the Phils than I ever thought I'd be this season.

Yeah, just not enough but in games I watched he was standing around often (not all the time) in his own end and when he did have the puck he rarely ever looked for a linemate to get a better scoring chance.

For me he's not on my list.
