This is in no way a critique of your suggestion, but I personally question if putting Konecky in a 3rd line role will slow his offensive development (I.E. Coots daily argument!!!). If he doesn't make the top 2 lines...send him back!

I seriously question whether or not Travis Konecny is physically ready to play in the NHL. Based on the single game I watched him play live against Windsor, the offense is there but he does get pushed around and prone to injury. I just wonder how durable he really is.

We talking Chickenrun? He's not dropping to 18. He murdered the combine and interviews too. I still doubt he falls past top 10. I don't care for him either.....in some ways he reminds me of a high end Nick Schultz. That's not a bad player. But it isn't one I make a top pick on. He just doesn't have what is needed upstairs to be that top pairing guy imo. At least not one in the metrics. But I'm sure a GM/coach sees the size, tools, and intensity and will make him one.
