Saw 28 at the Galleria today... He was surprisingly very normal looking. Not big at all for that 6'3 height - bluengold12
Hes not 6"3 |

You're not getting Lindholm, Dumba, or any other elite top LHD Fowler will be good here and can fill the void till Guhle or whoever we draft this year possibly are ready. A much better player then Gorges that's for (frank) sure.
Nash may not wave here initially but we're a good fit and he's a good player who again would be easier to get then let's say Eberle or Duchene.
Those additions plus the signing of another guy on D maybe like Golakoski or a winger could push us into anywhere in the playoffs and from there it's anyone's game. - bluengold12
Dumba could be avail but he a RHD |

Yes but he soft as a marshmallow and Im a fowler fan but I won't be able to deal with all the female doging of people calling him soft wussy calling him a purse swinger etc they will compare every aspect to Tyler Myers - GERBE!!!75PTS
Who cares?
Fowler pared up with Risto who isn't so soft will be a good compliment of each other. |

I think Fowler could adapt well in the east. Built for the east more than the west |

I agree tho. hes not huge. Pretty lean dude overall |

I don't think he's ever been that tall he's like 5"11- 6 foot lol - GERBE!!!75PTS
When we drafted him they said he was 6'2''-6'3''
Online when you search him it comes up 6'2'' on NHL.com it's 6'1'' So I guess it's a pretty wide range |

Yeah. I suspect his height has been embellished. For all those who say he's suppose to be a power forward he has a long way to go. I wasn't right next to him but I saw him a good twenty yards out as him and his girl walked by and he definitely didn't look a guy who could lay the lumber on bigger guys |

Oh I know he could adapt here the problem is those constant people that will just female dog the hell out of him about being soft not hitting and stuff like that which is not a big deal to me if you're playing smart defense |

Who cares what people think? They won't be female doging when him and Risto make a great offensive 1-2 punch |

There will be those moments for sure.
Mark pysyk is the next whipping boy anyways. So fowler may be safe |

But still not a good defensive one. I agree its an upgrade over Gorges but I dont think you win with that. I suppose you could say adding Fowler reduces the pressure offensively for risto, less total minutes may make it easier on him to maintain a two way game throughout the year. I remain skeptical though. |

It was going to be Franson before he got hurt then I was sure Bogosian was next but he got a bunch of inflated power play points so people all of the sudden thought he could play defense. Pysyk got it by default I guess... |

I still think Him, Foligno and Larsson would be a good 3rd or 4th line that would frustrate the hell out of other teams. Just cant pay them all 4M/year….Larsson is a good start paycheck wise. |

Not much else out there that's attainable on the left side. Unless you want to take on Browns deal to get Muzzin which no one on here seems to want to do....
I'd like Golakoski but Dallas is reportedly making him a priority. A top four of
Fowler Risto
McCabe Bogosian
is pretty decent even though you'd like more defense out of Bogosian. Fowler is a very good puck mover and great at clearing the puck out of the zone without icing it. |

That's only me and you buddy everything thinks he's a great captain and you should not give up the C to Ryan O'Reilly
Bogosian he's just a hitting machine
molasses well he slithers around maybe a goal will come off his ass |

Ideally if Z can produce at a 15 goal 20 assist pace he'd be a perfect 3rd line center and Larsson a 4th. |
