IDK, I think many more fans will know who Shattenkirk is compared to the prospect the Sabres take at 8.

My first choice is to trade up to 3, if that can't happen (which it is very unlikely that it could), I would want to move it for a player such as Shattenkirk.

The draft is great, but it is a gamble, always. See Yakapov. Decent player, but not first overall quality.

What do you think about Ryan Nuggent-Hopkins? I know he is injury prone, but should we take a chance on him? (thinks out loud, has he ever played anything but center....)
