teams cannot reacquire players they trade after Jan. 1, 2017 prior to Jan. 1, 2018. In other words, no handshake agreements to stash away players with other franchises to hide them from the expansion draft...

I think the owners or GMs have to vote on these rules and I hope they say no to them and ask for some "adjustments." The NMC/NTC being the major issue.
If they agree on these rules, GMTM might have to play hardball with MOulson unless he bounces back this year. I dont expect 50 points out of the guy, but he has to produce more for that paycheck. Bad for the locker room to be a $5M a year scratch.

Juolevi would be nice but I think he might be gone before 8. Maybe jr might be right about Keller at 8. Maybe it comes down to a few of them- Juolvei, Keller, Chick and Nylander.
