Tryamkin, Hutton and Virtanen don't need to be protected either. Must have played two seasons prior to the draft.

It doesn't even matter how many games they play next year.

Protected:

Edler, Tanev, Gudbranson

Dank, Hank, Sutter, Hansen, Horvat, Baertschi, Granlund, Gaunce

Can't protect all but the list is more to show possibilities.

Exposed:

Dorsett, Sbisa, Vey, Etem

This is a big reason why trading for prospects/picks could be a smart plan because it gets some value for players they may not be willing to protect. It's another reason why I think Hansen gets traded. Not because they want to but it gives them another spot for another guy they may sign in FA this year. Either way we still look pretty good.

Eg Hutton JV Tryamkin or ALL players drafted in 2014/15
Hank & Dank have NMC n MUST be included in the 7/3/1
Hansen & Edler have NTC n can be left unprotected.

Still waiting for the 'we lost the Bonino trade-Sullivan coach of the year-Kessel is the best-Justin Schultz' clowns to show up.

Even though I am actually happy for Bonino, Kessel and Schultz and even a few others that help bring that Pens team together.

How about Schultz though...couldn't make the third pairing on the Oil and now hoisting the cup and he actually contributed...crazy.

Bettman is the worst Commish in league history it will go down as such.

3 lockouts and 7+ tainted Stanley Cups in 24 years of that goof. At one time under Bettman there were 16 American teams flirting with bankruptcy...at least 10 still are.

He'll ad a few more warm weather teams which will be bleeding cash in 5-10 years and water the talent pool even further.

Sure he's taken league revenue from 25 mil in 1993 to well over 500 mil now...but too much integrity of the game has been sacrificed in doing so.

His legacy will be laughable and even most American realize he is an idiot hence the boos everytime he publically speaks.

As far as I can tell, the league has never been about integrity above revenue. Bettman is just an extension of that.

Bettman is both the puppet master and the puppet of the only 30 opinions that count and they think he's a generational talent, 1st overall type "player."
