If that was true then Yakupov wouldve been traded by now. It is clear EDM is trying to get equal value. With the right usage and his release he is worth it. Could be the next Tarasenko - YuenglingJagr

Gee, sounds a lot like Vancouver minus the potholes, Vancouver has the worst traffic congestion of any city in North America. - HawkfaninBC
Have u been to Seattle or LA?
I don't find it bad at all. But I don't have to commute to downtown. It rains... yes. But I'd take the rain in the winter over the snow and freezing temps anywhere else in Canada.
I get it. Everyone hates VAN. |

I didn't say it's not possible, but whatever they could give up in a trade for Yakupov could be used on a Dman, but Yakupov is a defensive forward, so i guess it might make sense if he went to MTL. but i think PHI would be a better fit.
what do you think EDM gets for him? - thejonathans
Hope it's a typo or else this explains whyEDM is struggling defensively. |

Well when you consider guys like Murray, Grigorenko, etc it wasn't really a bad selection. The best pick of the draft is probably the guy who went 11th overall (Forsberg). Just a weak draft at the top; D heavy.
This was still a guy who potted 18 goals in 48 games and led all rookies in scoring. Then along comes Dallas Eakins... - DeflatedPucks
Galchenyuk is developing well... would be even better if we had a coach that could work with young talent. Forsberg does appear to be the Gem of the draft at this point though. |

Sanheim isnt enough...he was 18th overall and Yakupov was 1st overall...so the Flyers would need to include at least another 1st and maybe Coots - YuenglingJagr
Using that same argument I wish we still had Luke Schenn to trade you for Yak. |

I think it actually is Toronto. The highway 401 section through the GTA is the busiest highway in the world. Which when you think about how much denser population centres there are in the world, that is crazy, that is terrible planning. They should have doubled and tripled the subways and other transit systems decades ago. But aside from that it's a great city, as is Vancouver. Canada just never developed the train systems of Europe and the US, and it sucks. - Zezel
I see you haven't driven through Richmond, Norfolk or DC (NJ parkway in the summer going south is up there too). NYC and Toronto traffic are pleasant in comparison I find. |
