If you look solely at the fancy stats, MacDonald is barely an NHLer, Zach looks like a decent 3rd pair option.

=17.5m net = 7.5m left for risto and foligno's bridge deal. We also may be able to get rid of some contacts - Franson, Moulsen (prob not) and Gorges/Gionta's go away soon

Girgs will get more than double that. Okposo will cost 7 million, boeddker will get around 6. Risto around 5.5, foligno at least 2.5., McCabe around 2.5. No way that roster would come in under the cap.
