Besides Flying Pig, I think you get more bang for your buck at La Mezcaleria on commercial or bodega on main. - numbear
Mezcaleria is amazing |

I tried that place a few months ago. Loved it. Cool atmosphere and great Mexican food. Not downtown though... |

On the restaurant subject... I tried two restaurants recently in Kits that were good; Chewies and Fable. Interesting menus. |

Definitely like Fable, good steaks apparently, haven't tried yet. Another downtown restaurant I like is Forage.

If you like Fable check out Mission nearby. Similar concept, owner is from Fable, more known for wine and vegetarian dishes. Seafood and meat is solid as well though. Pricey but a nice place for a date |

Just heard reviews on Caliburger have been awful. Long lines and long waits for food after ordering. I had a great burger and waited a bit, but thought it would get better. Apparently got worse.
Go to Joe Fortes, Pourhouse, Flying Pig, Coast or Black and Blue. - Scooby_Doo
Ate at Flying Pig in May when I was down there…very good. |

You guys are making me hungry. Trattoria is nice. Sadly I've only been to Forte's for a quick drink. Gotta swing by there one night for dinner. Kick the stool out from under Pratt at the bar. |

Depending if GG has an out clause or not the Canucks & Flames can negotiate compensation. There is no mandatory one in place now is all. |

Kaide in Yaletown. Also expensive, also amazing. If you're willing to leave downtown, Toshi's on Main and 16th or Sushi Loku on Fraser and Broadway are a lot cheaper but still damn good. |
