There was mention that players need to have term on their contract, not sure if there is a way to manipulate the situation with a guy like Kane who is a UFA 10 days after the expansion draft would go down.
Not sure how that messes with RFAs as well, seems like it could be trouble of you are exposing an RFA who needs a new contract, Vegas selects them, then they get offer sheeted or something like that messsing with the RFA.

Wow,,,,,,said by then Buffalo will be sick of Kane not sick of Kane right now.
I could be wrong....after 6 years in the league the switch might go on.

he went on a tear second half of last season

I love how every trade is one of 8th/Pysyk/ Zemgus For player X
If someone says not enough we just add another one of the three.
If you're trying to trade for a player that you want it's hard to get them for players you don't want.
Both have little value right now and we could be shocked for how little they go for if at all.

Pachs article says Bogo has to be protected because of his clause, but leaves Molson unprotected - is there a difference between NTC and NMC that comes into play for these rules? |

I agree overlooked because of injuries.
Wouldnt rule him out to be an average middle 6 guy in a few years

Agreed. Saw them 20+ times while still living in WNY (including one trip to Vegas to see them). Saw them recently in Charleston and without Steve (aforementioned cokehead) they're a horrible parody of themselves. |

Evander Kane will be a Las Vegas Black Knight in the next 2 years.
Buffalo will be sick of him by then, and he can see the arena from his condo at The Cosmopolitan.
Getting my Kane-frustration out of my system.....as for the Las Vegas team I think it will be a success. Games will start before the strip gets going.
I go twice a year and have talked the last few trips to several people that live and work there to get the feel and they want pro sports. 14,000 season tix sold, 2.2 million people and the number of fans going to watch their team will be insane. When the Jets play there I would guess between 1 and 2 thousand WPG'ers make the trip.
Once the Raiders move from Oakland, Vegas will just be on the Pro Sports scene and won't be much of talking point. - jjonah
No you're not. Every time you post here it's about Kane and his "issues" and how those "issues" actually matter. You must feel really slighted against because he doesn't like the city of Winnipeg. The trade was made a year and a half ago, time to let it go. You got a few players we wanted gone, as did the Sabres. Please don't tell us what we will get sick of. |

I believe you can ask players to waive the NMC for the expansion draft.
Not saying they'll do that for Bogo but it is a possibility. |

I saw them last summer, free tickets
they were ok, but a fraction of what they were in the 90's
it's tough for a band to continue when the singer leaves, even if steve only sang 2/3 of the songs
ac/dc
van halen
not sure if any other band kept it going with a different singer |
