To BUF:

Eberle
Ference
Prospect

Eberle is a good fit with McD but they want to have Nuge or Draisital play that spot. Taking Ference would be a cap dump for them and upgraded with Pysyk. We would be filling his spot with a dman that is a part of another trade. Girgensons for Ebs is all about versatility being a top 9 guy mainly a center...Ebs is a top 6 RW we would need more than EDM so we help out each team in their own way. The prospect thrown in is where things get tricky but I would think it would be a minor player for AHL most likely

Eberle Cap hit is 6 mil so once we rid ourselves of the moulson, gionta, franson cap concerns via buy out or new, cheaper deal it will all fit into place

No problem. The vesey/stamkos watch makes plans interesting but I am hearing that since the Foligno-Larsson-Gio line did so well Girgensons would have to play wing but that is not his best fit, which is at center instead.....but our top 9 is loaded already really

You need to look at this trade in terms of hockey value and where each timeline is at. EDM has forwards galore but has no where to fit them all with 3 top line centers so they will shift one to the wing. Using an older than the rest of their "core"Eberle it opens up a spot for Draistal to play with McD on the wing instead.

Ennis is a mystery to me where he falls in any deal but I would hope they take a look at him with Eichel for a bit longer just in case but again with the Vesey rumors heating up more than Stamkos....Pysyk is our #4/5 dman currently..risto, mccabe and bogo rank ahead of him in our organization and especially with being able to only protect so many players this move shows that. Trading for Ference is doing them a favor but also the price of moving up...take away the prospect maybe but this is again just word on the street currently...
