The upcoming expansion draft is certainly a factor in how gms make deals, but I suspect if TM has his sights on dealing for a player he won't let that get too much in the way. Rosters will all look different by the time expansion comes around and every team will lose one player. Maybe the one we lose is someone we all want gone, anyway.....

We should have at least considered looking into this unless Murray has bigger players on his mind. In which case if we don't come out of this summer with a player better than Teravinen on wing I'll be pissed.

TM trades a roster Player (Say Foligno) and a prospect to LV for a pick, with the understanding you don't touch the roster.

Kids on phones have no time to insert punctuation because they're so busy on other websites also having conversations with no punctuation, spelling, grammar, etc.

There will probably be a loophole gms will find to skirt around some issue or arrange contracts to protect certain players. Always happens.

Even so, I would not be surprised if LV fields a playoff team within 2 years. Heck, look at the expansion Sabres....five years in and we were in the Cup finals.

From everything I read, Tuevo gets knocked off the puck by a sneeze. He needs to add muscle and strength according to most.

Knowing GMTM, he'd probably try to trade his way into the Expansion Draft to pick up someone another team exposed.

20 years old and 35 points is all I really need to see. I'm not pissed we didn't get him but it wasn't a lot to give up so Murray better get a better point producing player before or after July 1st

*** He didnt make that trade straight up, no one knew Tarasenko was going to be this good. He traded the pick that became him, not much you can do about that.
