So here's a proposal. As much as think Linden Vey was admirable for being able to play through the last couple of seasons because of his parents situation I'm going to say that I'd like for Benning to offer Brandon Pirri a term sheet of around $1.2m and see if Anaheim matches. Under $1.239m there is no compensatory pick

Pirri had 22 goals 2 seasons ago and 14 last season split between Florida and Anaheim. He's only 25 and might be worth the risk. What do ya think?

It is the offseason. Nothing else to do currently. I'm just counting the days to the draft myself. I think it'll be a good year for moves with an expansion surely coming.

JB is taking the middle road. he's selectively trading picks for young NHL players with upside like Baertschi, Gudbranson, Vey and trading prospects in positions where the Nux have current/ future depth for players who will fill a role like Granlund...
