I think they will wait for the draft for most of the "to do list" left. This includes signing RFAs (in case they can trade he rights), possible buyouts (because they need a plan to replace them) and trades (basically because of the above). I think by the draft they can start talking to UFAs too which helps in decision making at least to an extent. Unfortunately, if I'm right, gonna be a pretty dull week.

I don't see Granlund being left out at this point. Granlund and Vey both have stuff to prove but I think they could shift either to the wing if necessary too. Difference is that Granlund is signed and Vey is not.

When asked about moving up, Benning says he made calls but right now is content with #5. Doesn't sound like its a possibility. #Canucks

I wonder what the possibility is of a team prying Schwartz out of St Louis? They don't have a ton of cap space and the have Brouwer and Backes potentially walking. Slim to none I bet but I'd love to see him next to Sutter.
