If you're the sabres and you acquire bickell this offseason, imo your not giving much hope on the playoffs. I think TT is a bit overrated.

So I say as TM, inquire, get the ball rolling, get him to approve it and then pull the offer. Then just sign in FA. hahaha

He has a NMC - there would be no reason to throw in the second third. If he approves the trade he's signing.

I don't think he has to approve of his rights being traded...not sure of the specific wording in the CBA but since the season is over he doesn't "have to report anywhere" given his contract expiring.

Teuvo is a softer style player, but 35pts for a 21 year old kid in his first full season isn't a horrible option given the cost. If we end up empty handed coming into this next season this may look a lot more appealing in hind sight.

I'd be interested. I'd rather have someone with more speed. Pearson isn't a great skater
