No... not everyone hates Gus... Like 2 or 3 people don't like him and make up random stuff about him to try to coax others into not liking him.

I don't hate Girgs in the slightest, and think he's still a pretty decent player.....but I doubt he's a Sabre next year. I'M Murray sees him as an asset rather than a future player here

Mathews and eichel are considered by many scouts to be equals. Eichel gets a bit of the edge right now for being a nhl player vs mathews still undrafted. Would you rank laine over eichel? I wouldnt and same for mathews. Everyone is so caught up with laine being a great goal scorer.

Eichel was in the same breath as McDavid at one point with the whole "McEichel" trend going on and was said to be the best American prospect since Modano. I have not heard that kind of praise on Matthews at all this year. Now that may be due to him playing in Europe and avoiding the spotlight (what does that say about his character btw ?) but everything I read say he would of probably been selected 3rd behind Eichel and McDavid last year. Matthews may be the better two way player like a Kopitar or Toews, but Eichel will more likely produce more points and be more flashier offensively like a Seguin or Stamkos.
