Who's really trading away any top pair d-men though? Not saying Bogosian is your only choice, but I don't think teams are looking to push away their #1 or #2 guys anywhere. - stashu
Which is why I think we will settle for Cam Fowler.
We just need to hope Risto turns out to be a true #1 |

I would love for Tanner to be a GM, I guarantee his team would finish bottom of the league. - ImThatGuy
He'd trade for the best 2 dmen in the league other than OEL (no one, and I mean no one, is better than OEL), Jake Gardiner and Cody Franson. |

Total number of games played divided by number of games in a season multiply that by his ppg.
It works out to 76 gp and 59 point for him - dadeadhead
So u included the 48 game season instead of just simply extrapolating it to a regular 82 game season ? That skews the totals or misrepresents them anyways.
Anyways, all good |

Tanner legitimately thinks Franson is a #2 on a good team, and that McCabe is awful.

No it doesn't because he played 48 of 48 games.
He's played 425 of 458 games. Divide it multiply by 82. It comes out to 76 games. Multiply that by his ppg and it comes to 59.
It's a true evaluation of games. You can't make the strike year an 82 game season as there to many factors. He played 48 of 48 |

69, 81, 80, 48, 78 = 356 gp in the nhl over the last 5 years
47, 63, 65, 37,76 = 288 pts
288/356 = 0.8 ppg
X 82
= 66 |

Or hope Chychrun isnt bogo
Chychrun, Fowler, Risto, McCabe in theory could be a decent group of 4 |

Well his lower totals are then skewed
Because you're including his 37 points in a 48 games season which obviously diminishes his totals when compared against and with totals in an 82 game season
He's scored at a .8 ppg over the last 5 years |

Agreed. I'd still like to add a speedy puck mover for the bottom pair. Hopefully that's Guhle. |

Correct me if I am wrong but isn't Nelson also pretty savvy with the puck on his stick? I don't know if either of them will become a "top PP QB" in the NHL caliber but I also don't think it is such a glaring hole that we trade away big pieces. |

It doesn't diminish anything really.
His career ppg is .779. That includes 37 in 48.
His totals are his totals. Want better ones? Score more. |

Well I always said over the last half decade.
So you're not only comparing apples and oranges by comparing totals in a 48 game season with and against ones in an 82, but you've even changed the parameters to include extra years altogether
As I've stated from the beginning, his ppg over the last 5 years in the Nhl is .8 ppg. Which averages out to 65 per year over a full season. I'm sorry if you don't like those facts. But I can't change them.
But you're more than welcome to change the parameters if u like. Maybe add in his numbers at the worlds? Or just pinpoint a 20 game stretch u few comfortable with?
Fine by me bruh! |
