Really hope Jack and Mr Vesey are becoming friends at this tournament together. There's just something about the idea of him, Jack and Samson playing together as a line is interesting...even though we all know that Disco will play with the lines constantly all the same.

He doesn't strike me at all like an overly physical guy, but he has great vision around the net and that boy can skate. His hands don't seem anywhere near Jack or Sam's, but I'd be willing to wager that those aforementioned two will make their linemate much better simply by osmosis in the playmaking department. Gimme Vesey, anyone pretty much in the top 10 in this years draft and I will be content (still want Stammer and an NHL ready LHD to be ecstatic, but in order to not get greedy...).

You're right, I just think Vesey's mind may very well be made up by these games as far as Buffalo is concerned. If he and Jack really do well together we may have a lot better chance for him to put pen to paper.

Found it. It's one of those. I thought it was some pro thing that way it was mentioned. It's like the one Pat Kane does in Buffalo every offseason. Maybe not this year...

I mean it's a free country I don't see in what scenario they couldn't hang out together as friends. What they talk about is up to them. So long as the Sabres aren't directly talking to him/his agent. Kind of huge loophole and I'm not complaining haha. Someone posted the name of the league you can see the rosters.

I meant allowing him to compete in a non-professionally sanctioned tournament, don't want to risk the Golden Goose breaking his beak. He should absolutely be doing everything he can to talk Vesey into coming here if that's what management wants.

Tonight on Fb someone in a Sabres group said they heard Pierre Maguire on TSN say that "a little birdie" told him that Buffalo may have the inside track to sign Vesey.
