Getting a little antsy reading about the Yotes being linked to Yandle even if they do sign Golagoski. They have far more cap room then us and a young and aggressive Gm trying to save the franchise....
I think Murray will be a failure if he does not do both of these things.
1. Sign or trade for a top pairing LHD. It should be noted that they only have to be a top pairing guy on our team. So any of Yandle, Golagoski or Fowler will be fine.
2. Sign or trade for a winger under 30 to play with Eichel preferably on the left side. Must have had at least two seasons of plus 20 goals.
In addition to these I'd like to see him improve the bottom six with speed. Guys like Trevor Lewis, Darren Helm, Michael Grabner should all be seriously looked at. This is more preference though and not necessarily as important as the first two.
I'd also like to see him attempt to rid himself of one of Bogosian, Moulson or Franson's contract and not overpay Girgensons or Foligno.
These are all important but 1 and 2 are necessities or else we finish right where we are now. Maybe a few more games won but not enough for the playoffs

3. Trade for Pearson ( I think he will explode on a different team like Wayne Simmons did) or Kreider or JVR
