Again, like usual, I didn't bring up Myers. I honestly don't care about Myers and wouldn't be surprised of he's traded so WPG can protect Trouba.

And like usual, no one can provide any facts to back up the argument on why we should keep him or protect him.

I don't want to get joined at the hip with Bogo like Myers is at yours because he is not my ideal Dman but to just toss him away because he came in the supposed wrong trade is idiotic.

That being said I have stated Bogosian's strengths multiple times; he played against teams top lines and talent last year, was on the PK and PP. He did a lot of this while not being 100%. He is the only Sabres D who uses his size and is physical which a teams need. He came on latter in the year, some games had 6-8 SOG, is mobile, can move the puck, can be tough in front of the net and in the corners. He has some flaws but no D or player is perfect and he wasn't supposed to be. He isn't an all star, isn't a #1 D but is a top 4.

They used pigeons as the first guided bombs. They would peck at a certain part and it would steer the fins on the bomb right to(hopefully) the intended target.

Using a similar method I know they also experimented with putting cats inside bombs so they'd hit ships instead of water. Hitting ships with unguided dumb bombs is really hard given the limits of the aircraft of the day. Because cats hate water. Seriously.

Gotcha, but a team has more than one season. The Sabres are building for a Cup contender and I see him as a part and one injured season does not dictate a players ability nor does who he was traded for.

If we don't add a top 2-3 D man than I'd prefer for him to stay. He was really solid to end the year. And you are right, he was getting a ton of shots on goal which is important.

I just don't want him being the highest or 2nd highest paid D when he's our 4th best guy back there. Assuming we add someone and McCabe maybe takes a step forward

Wonder what it would cost the leafs to get stamkos rights? Kapanen and a second? Cuz if they absolutely knew they could get stamkos (for 7 years not 8), they could move first overall for a haul. Maybe the coyotes can get to 3 and move strome/domi and puljujarvi for one. Obviously not hoping for this, but thatd be fireworks. Or maybe its buffalo moving up to 3 or 4. Should be fun.
