Neither will happen while any of us are alive probably unfortunately. Ten or so years ago there was a mini uprising to get a MLB team here but I think that's the least likely option out of the two. I'd put MLB team at 0% NBA ever coming back to Buffalo at 2%

I think with Pegula it's as likely as it will ever be.

Pegula can't afford three teams. Also I believe there's a rule with NBA can't have same owner in city. NBA I could maybe say could happen.
MLB they'd have to have dome because sometimes it snows here in Buffalo in April/May and especially in October. Also the resurgence of Toronto Blue Jays kind of kills it from ever happening. We also have to wait in line behind Seattle and likely a few other bigger cities.

Never gonna happen. Steinbrenner sealed the deal back when Colorado got their team. Buffalo was the favorite until he opened his mouth. - Stripes77
I really don't care. But if I had to pick between basketball and baseball, I'd pick baseball, because it's something to root for during the summer. I'm not really a fan of either basketball or baseball. Baseball is too slow, and basketball, at least the NBA, is just as boring because there's no defense at all. 100+ scoring plays a game is a bit much for me.

It's a shame Soccer isn't bigger in America. It can be an entertaining sport to watch and in Europe they get as crazy about it with rivalries and such as we do here with american football.
If Soccer was bigger here it would be the perfect professional sport to have during summer..

It's way bigger than the NFL. Relatively speaking. They're way more into soccer than we're into football. Have you seen the riots at the Euro tournament in France the past week? When was the last time an NFL player was killed because he missed a kick? The Russians came with mouth guards and MMA gloves. And at the end of the game with England lit off flares and fireworks and over 100 of them hopped barriers(we don't have barriers to keep opposing fans away from each other) and charged the England fans it was literally mayhem. It's like if the entire country were Raiders fans.
Skip to 1:40. I mean watch the whole thing, it's insane, but 1:40 is just, ouch.
you're joking me right Justin Faulk from the Carolina hurricanes ?
You're telling me will get Justin Faulk plus more for just the eighth overall pick
Tim Murray should get fired if he passed on that wtf ... - GERBE!!!75PTS
I normally disagree with your over the top reactions but am having a hard time doing so with this one. Depending on the + this seems like a relatively easy decision and a pretty big win for the organization.

The sad part is the euros is childs play compared to what they got going on in club competition. Glasgow's not too far from where i am so i occasionally make the trip to see Celtic play...man is that something else especially when they play their rivals

Another "quality" video. Americans are downright quaint compared to the rest of the world when it comes to sports. They just focus all their rage on soccer whereas we have many sports to spread it out a bit.

Okay so maybe they're a bit more crazy. But games in Oakland and Philadelphia are close...
I wish it was like that here too with soccer... Man kicking some Boston fans ass after we beat them would be awesome

Yeah, see my last post. That's what I'm trying to say. People here think we take sports way too seriously, but we don't even scratch the surface of the insanity in many parts of the world. Remember the riots in Egypt in Port Said where 74 people were killed a few years ago? That happened just because. No particular reason. 11 death sentences came out of that. They can't even blame alcohol like the Europeans. When the army has to come in and airlift the players out because they're trapped in their locker rooms because of marauding fans you know poop's gotten real.

Jesus, let's dial back the hype, eh? I'm not even sure McDavid and Eichel combined had this much hype.
Let's say your favorite team was set to draft one of the best prospects the NHL had ever seen - a player whose career is likely a disappointment if it doesn't end in a Hall of Fame induction - that would be pretty exciting. - James Tanner

It is hard to believe we are finally going to be seeing additions to the roster again this week. It has hard to believe that we really haven't added anything since opening night last year. Should be fun.
