Nash ( won't give up a lot)

I mentioned Hoffman a while back but since they hired a new coach that might change.

Bouwmeester was a relatively big fish when he was about to hit FA, panthers moved him for rights to Leopold and a third rounder. Wonder what we'd have to give up for Stamkos and if it even makes sense given hed have to waive to put the deal through.

I listened to Darren Dreger on TSN today and he along with other Canadian media refuse to mention the Sabres as contenders for Stamkos. Today it was Detroit and the Leafs. They admit they know squat but their bias pisses me off.

I don't understand the Detroit idea from Stamkos' point of view. Not only is Zetterberg an old man, but now they've lost Datsyuk, and would lose more pieces to move that cap hit. It's a weakening team. All homerism aside, I think Buffalo has a better future ahead of them than Detroit.

And it seems like we will break the bank for Stamkos...

Yeah, I saw McKenzie saying that awhile ago...I should say Dreger did say he thinks Stamkos wants to stay in Tampa but they have so many contracts coming up we'll have to see if it's doable.

They have made the postseason for two decades straight. It's an organization that knows what they are doing.

They also have a good young nucleus in Larkin, Tatar, Nyquist, Mrazek.

Ive never thought Buffalo was a true landing spot for Stamkos.

Its fun to dream, but I just don't see it.
