Tanev is at worst a #3 defenseman and even on most teams a solid #2. Tanev + 5OA for Duchene is overkill by a Tanev or a 5OA. Burrows onyl negative value is his contract which is just for 1 year, he is still an NHL caliber player. Picks seem to be worth more lately than in years past. Duchene alone would not land 3OA this year and that is with CBJ needing a 1C badly as well.

I think he's saying Tanev or the 5 pick does it alone which is ridiculous. But you saying the 5th, JV or Horvat plus a roster player is just about as ridiculous. |

No it's what it would cost ...he's a legit 1C ...maybe take bo out but typically duchene would cost a first a top prospect and a roster player ...and Colorado is only moving him if the get an overpay ...so that means more |

He's a mid to lower tier legit #1C, and we aren't talking just a first. It's the 5th overall pick.
His value would be closer to the 5th overall and a solid NHL player. |

You forget that Tanev is a top 2 defense. There are none on the Market. Rhd that are top 2 are always valuable and requires overpayment as well. Jones isn't yet a 1d and yet git traded for an established 1c |
