I never said I thought he was worth it but he is a 25 year old 1c whose had a 30 goal season, a point per game season....kid is good ... And if anyone wants him via trade they will give up a lot

My comment was referring to the summer right after the olympics ...when hammy value was at its highest point ...there was no way the nucks trade him then but it's Interesting to think what might have been ....it's not like the flames didn't have players they held on to longer than they should have ...iginla, regehr, and kipper if traded years before they were could have yielded exceptional returns
