I have to fly into Edmonton twice a year and it's a pretty miserable (frank)ing place. No offense of course

You shouldn't judge a city on 2 visits a year Don, I have lived in Edmonton (10 years), Calgary (7 years) , Vancouver (15 years) , Victoria (14 years) , also spent time in Toronto , Ottawa and other smaller places. They all have their good points and not so good points. The one thing I will say about Edmonton is the people are super friendly, always lots of great parties to go to, the winters are not really that bad , compared to what they were like in the 1960's and 70's. Much like the winters on the west coast, we used to get rain for weeks or even months at a time in the winter but not so much anymore. Climate change is definitely real and has impacted both the prairies and west coast.

Kept the wife busy shovelling.
