Healy's awful. Maybe he should stick to actually trying to analyze the game instead of the socks a player was wearing on the bus ride.

I didn't use to mind him as much in studio with the occasional worthy analytic but it seems as soon as they put him down at ice level he had to attract more attention, almost like he had yell louder and be more over the top so the guys upstairs knew he was still there...

Ralph and Bowen were great too. The Leafs had a good thing going with vintage Cole and Bowen.

Bowen and Ralph had a real complementary styles - just seemed to enjoy each other and play off each other to keep it light and entertaining. I guess Neale and Cole did work well with each other too but I just found Cole way too annoying and his trying to hard to have distinctive catchphrases etc frustrated me along with the fact that he seemed to miss a lot during the action.

Yeah, they were able to have that banter without it getting tiresome. Like a lot of the time on talk radio I find the hosts are cracking themselves up too much and you want them to get on with it, but those guys made it work. They were self-deprecating and funny. I know a lot of people got tired of Cole, but for me he was great. I don't think they have anyone now that is on the level of those guys.

New game:

Select five analysts/studio hosts and three commentary teams... I'm intrigued to see what people will go for.

Not O'Neill. The guy is just too stupid. Not crazy about Maclean either. Actually prefer Kypper to him.

The show became totally different. Unchanged? What lol.

They used to cover all the latest rumours and everything but now all they do is play pretend hockey in the studio trying to teach kids why a certain play worked or didn't work.
