Golf goofs. So many out there. - bloatedmosquito
I've got friends that play music blaring off the cart the whole round. Smoking weed and drinking. It's fine once in a while. As long as they respect golf etiquette, don't walk on your line, don't walk behind you when you're hitting, don't talk when your hitting etc...
Constant noise is fine, but when a horn honks or someone yells in middle of a back swing, it definitely throws you off.
I love golf for the tradition and rules. I understand in order to get new golfers interested, there has to be some leniency. But sometimes people take it too far. I saw in Hawaii there is a course where people play without shirts on. |

So...does this mean big Strombo fan?? - dbot
No, who watches the pre-game and between periods anyway. McLean is just a raging alcoholic ex weatherman and is only popular because he's the only one that Cherry can stand to be around. Set fire to the whole lot and just switch over to other games in progress.
I'm just pissed because Canada lost out in the Olympic qualifier for Rugby 7s. |

Yes, sucks Canada lost...
I didn't mind Strombo, he was adequate and a nice change from McLean who I don't like. Sure, they could do better than Stombo but McLean isn't the answer. Is Steombo out of a job now? |

The #Blackhawks agree to terms with 2014 first-round pick Nick Schmaltz on a three-year contract.
Boeser losing his linemate.

Golf is supposed to be a gentleman's game, clubs cost minimum a grand if you're just wanting no-name cheap ones. Clubs that are fitted and designed to suit you can go upwards of 10k and beyond depending on if you want to go full custom made clubs. That's not including the money it costs for the other equipment like golf shoes, green fees, club memberships, tournament fees, lessons with a cpach, etc.
I guess my point is, if you're sinking that much money to play, and playing in one of the four majors of the PGA Tour, you should expect as little noise from the crowd as possible until after someone's made a shot. It's fine to clap and cheer when someone sinks a putt or hits a nice shot off the tee, but when you're doing the Happy Gilmour thing of being drunk and an idiot in the stands, you should be removed from the grounds. |

I totally agree. They would be at the Masters, without a doubt. They kick you out for running on the grounds.
I'm sick of these losers yelling "mashed potatoes" or "bababooyee". Stfu and grow up. I wish tournament would kick those losers out right away. I think Taylor made pays these drunk losers to say these things to promote their poopty product. |

Who ever is there I just shut out once the hockey stops. As for Strombo, he'll never be out of work, Ontario has a constant demand for douches. |

I was at the us open last year at chambers bay on Sunday. Some guy beside me yelled mashed potatoes after Day hit a drive, and I looked at him and said you're a moron. Not sure if he was just yelling it because he saw it on tv, or someone paid him to. |

You can always tell who the real golf fans/golfers are in the crowd because they're always the quietest and if they clap and cheer, it's only after when someone makes a spectacular shot or sinks a particularily difficult putt, otherwise they barely make a sound. Impossible to completely control the environment to remove all sound, but again those d-bags who hoot and holler after every shot or make dumb@$$ comments should be banned from watching tournaments. |

Why do you have to be hateful? I'm just trying to talk some hockey here.
I'm only calling Ron out on being a whiny hypocritical wanna be troll because he must resort to the most childlike reactions to rational thinking.
No need to go all emo on me. sheesh.
I got a 24hr for paying this in the oil blog. Granted it was after a bit of back and forth
Cherry busted. |

Like the guys that yell "get in the hole" after a tee shot.
Ironically I like the waste management tournament, it's a fun tournament... But it's a gong show that only happens once a year. |

Well he's still better then Strombo to me.. But like I suggested at the beginning of the thread, James Duthie would be my #1 choice - MaWLz
Like I said I'd rather they switch over to a game in progress. |

I am not a basketball fan by any means. I only watched the finals. I don't like LeBron ,I think he is a Me player. But man was I happy for Clevland last night. The city deserved a title.
The coach , the owner and the players could not hold back the emotion.
Congrats Cleveland |
