Yeah, but that pretty much sets the highest possible return for Fleury. They wont get better than that
- cap1681

It was essentially a swap for two second round picks. We should hope for da same

Wasn't expecting more than that. I think mid to late 2nd and an ok prospect with a cap dump that still saves us 2-3 mil is what we should be shooting for.
- Victoro311

Same here. It just seems like some people in here think Fleury will net them a 1st round pick. It's just not happening.

Well now it's been proven otherwise and these loony trade ideas where we trade into the top 5 via a top 10 pick we aquire for Fleury can end

I'd flip the same deal then..... a 2nd this year and next years first for Fleury..... he should get them to the playoffs but if not you got a couple balls in the lottery machine

I'd love it if we could get that for MAF.

First goalie trade happens and it's a surprise to no one. MAF was never going to Toronto

I know Dallas said they are not buying out either goaltender, but if they went big and bought out both. They could trade for Fleury, sign a cheap back up and save cap space for the next 2 years. That would have to be tempting for a team with so many "stars" in or entering their prime.

Hate her too. The Insiders keep saying she's not a villain character but how can a character not be a villain that allies with basically Genghis Khan. The group that butchered more people in human history than any other society.

Or if we took Niemi back as part of the trade and to increase the value of what we get.

For some reason, I think Dallas management is going to stay loyal to both (mostly because neither is really that good) and keep riding both

They are not gettting a 1st in any year for Fleury. 2 seconds or a second and a good prospect will be the return. If the Pens can get out of it without a cap dump, it's a victory for them.

i think they could find a trade for Niemi. Hell, if the Stars want Fleury and they're willing to give us enough back (I know everyone knows what I want by now) id take Niemi back in the deal. It's Lehtonen who's the problem.

I think those guys are based on Atilla the Hun not Ghengis Khan and her boobs are fantastic. She will win it all for sure. The dragons can barbecue the living dead dudes. Her and John Snow will get married and there will be 100 years of peace. That's my prediction

I didnt read every comment, but for you guys who hate dunk, dunk, dunk, missed free throw, etc. Honestly, you should watch the warriors. They were pretty poor in the final (i think 2 long seasons caught up with them). But the warriors are like the NBAs version of the pens. Fast, great shooting, not the normal boringness. They really made me enjoy the NBA again. (hadnt watched since I was a youngin' and jordan was killing it)

The NBA is almost as bad as MLB. You talk about borefest Yikes Those 9 innings are pure torture. How can anyone watch that crap. Oh wait they all have their cell phones and are texting and taking selfies. What has this country turned into. There is, btw, no cure for STUPIDITY.

I'd consider a Fleury trade good if we get a 2nd, ok prospect, and 2-3 mil in cap space. Anything more would be a coup.

Cmon JR. Same return from Calgary as Anaheim and I'll be ecstatic!

Great.... but that's not your first offer.....

GMJR: Market is a first and a second. ....deal?
Flames GM: no way.... a late second and a prospect
GMJR: your earliest 2nd this year and a conditional 3rd next year that becomes a 2nd if Fleury plays 50% of games or you make playoffs

Etc etc

I think a pair of seconds. ... especially if one is a top 40 pick this year is a great return
