When in reality all that we know is "Hearing there will likely be at least one trade today." In no way does that mention Buffalo or the Sabres

On another Sabres site they are tossing around the idea of trading Sam straight up for pick 3 to draft a legit a winger to play with Jack. We don't have to give up 8, we are already deep at center with Jack, O'Reilly, Girgs. The Sabres draft Jesse Puljujärvi who to some has more upside and all around game than Laine.

It's a risk we know Sam can produce in NHL and Will be successful but Jesse could be a franchise winger and much higher calling

I'm not trading Reinhart unless its for Laine. That's the only prospect I'd trade straight up for. Reinhart has so much potential as a complete player it's stupid.

Well, I was never attached to Sam but he is a better than I thought right now and I like him. The CBJ do need a center and one they won't have to protect in the expansion draft. A team can only have so many centers and be barren of wingers for so long.

I just thought that Jack, and Sam had great chemistry at the end of last season. I just can't see breaking that up, regardless of where player-x would have slotted in this years draft.
