I think the pick will come down to Nylander, Chychrun and Keller. I want it to be Segachev but Gerbe got in my head with that...

I think if Nylander is there Murray could view him as the top guy and just take him but my gut tells me with the Pegula connect and his body type and pedigree that Chychrun will be the pick and unfortunately now it's looking like a risk. I equate him to calling all in and chasing a straight.
You're one card away and you could get that card or you could be losing all your chips on a hope

- bluengold12

Yeah I think Nylander and Keller are safer picks, but Chychrun has a bunch of hidden upside. Tough call. I think we'll be happy no matter who we pick, unless we go way off the board.

go to your grocery store deli, get 1/4 pound of bologna, buy a roll from the bakery.
Fry the bologna in a pan with BUTTER! 3-4 slices at a time.
Add what ever toppings you like.
if you like fried Bologna, its beyond easy to make and takes 5 minutes.
I only do it about once every couple of months.
cuz, you know, fatness….

I wouldn't mind taking a chance on Day but he sounds like he has an enormous amount of growing up to do mentally.

Some places do that. Went to that big market in Boston a few years ago and they had them

I hate cold cuts personally. Only ate baloni when I was in kindergarten before my young taste buds caught up to reality

I was his biggest fan wanted to take him top 5 .. Hes now a 4th or if Gm got really turned off undrafted

I don't how you can not work as hard as you can for the most important day of your life and just say (frank) it at the right at the combine

That's just serious mental problems. Draft him then send his ass to therapy.

I could see possibly Faulk and a C level prospect for 8 but I'm not sure Faulk for 8 really helps unless he can move to the left side or we get rid of another righty in our top 4...

If Matthews was two days older, he'd have been 2015 eligible, would've gone 3rd overall to ARI after McDavid/Eichel:

Thank you Bob

if you sign vesey, and happen to land stamkos do you try to get maf on the cheap and plan on losing a goalie at expansion draft?

MaF won't be cheap. We saw what it took to get Anderson who has worse career numbers...

Would likely cost 8th overall and our 2nd next year

I think 2 thirds get him, or 2017 second and a third for this year

Flury is a stanley cup winner and has great numbers. If Anderson goes for a low first and a 2nd in 2017 Flurey will go for more.

No because we'd have to protect him given his NMC. Unless it's voided by him waiving for a trade. I still wouldn't do it because it'd likely be cost prohibitive. If we don't re-sign Johnson and Lehner struggles a lot by December(Johnson being the best backup on the market excluding Enroth who is unlikely to come back, he wants to be a starter, mostly because Johnson posted starters numbers last year) then I'd be willing to revisit. But for a guy who is already 31 with a big hit for 3 more years who got Wally Pipp'ed by a rookie, and when given the chance in the playoffs stunk up the joint. That just doesn't add up to a good idea. The Sabres can't afford to chase/go out of their way/overpay anymore. A few injuries and depth becomes a real big problem, especially on the blueline.

Goalie prices are high but with the Vegas addition teams are happier to have starter and a career back up...dont see the sabres in on him but I do see them signing a career back up to help out Lehner like Chad did...Hutton would be the easiest choice and we would still only be protecting Lehner...think more long term when thinking about the goalie market
