Not being a smart a$$ but what makes Lindholm, Bobby Orr? He's had a couple of decent offensive seasons, on a pretty offensive team, but nothing eye popping.
I don't think that we should under value Reinhart. Sam has some huge upside. I'd rather stay at #8 and draft a D, than trade Sam for Lindholm. Gotta be a huge deal in order to tradr Sam.

They have some really good kids just like we do... but they don't have the top end vet talents to back up those kids like we do. They also only have about 7M in cap space.

I'm fairly certain that having Lupol, Laich, JVR, Bozak, and Kadri locked up long term is not quite the same as us. I mean.. PAP was their 2nd leading scorer last year.

Rumor of Pysyk, Reinhart, and #8 for Hall and #4. Has us sending more draft picks as well as Edmonton to balance it out. Finnish guy again so who knows

Gardiner has really good numbers in terms of possession, shot suppression, and he's a decent scorer. I'm not a huge fan of his and think the fancy stat people over rate him, but he's just as good of a 2nd pairing guy as Bogo

I think he meant #2 defenseman. The point is Gardiner and Reilly are still as good as or better than anyone not named Ristolainen on Buffalo's defense corps. Hopefully McCabe surpasses them, but he hasn't yet.
