It's pretty much guaranteed at this point that money is going to Loui Erikkson - classic321
TBH, I don't dislike the move as long as it's short term. |

I wonder if we'll land Nash, and if so how much salary NYR will keep. Only a couple of years on his deal I think, he could be pretty much free. - golfingsince
Where did you see that rumor? I heard he refuses to play in Canada. I would rather go after Stepan. 6.5m is a lot but he can play 1c in 2 years if BoHo/Dubois aren't ready. |

I never heard a rumour of him coming here.....just on his way out from NY. |

In his case 4 years as I figure the twins will re-up at the end of their deals. |

4 years is a reasonable term...I fear he may be seeking 5/6 which is too rich |

This is how I saw the trade as well ...traded potential that still needed to develop for less upside but ready to play now - Redmile247

I'd be happy with 4
Full NTC year one
Limited 10 team year two
Full NTC year three
Limited 15-20 team year 4.
If he's going to take less money for term, then I want no NTC after year 4. |

Finally no Vey
Poor Willie is gonna be in trouble, no Weber, and no Vey.
Anybody wanna bet Willie will be replaced by ASG?
I better not get my hopes up. Canucks didn't qualify Weber last yr. Instead gave him more money |

I'd be surprised if he comes here. Not unhappy, just surprised. I have a hard time imaging any of the more sought after free agents choosing to sign with what was one of the worst teams in the league last year, unless they get massively overpaid. |

As I said the other day. Given our roster make up and age I believe the Okposo is a far better fit. Youngwr and probably around 1 mill cheaper |

Have you seen real estate prices in Vancouver? It's a nice place to live with solid locker room. Definitely worse places to play! Most cup contenders don't have he cap space
Edit. People said the same thing after the shiity Torts year and we signed the best goalie and second best winger on the market |

Such a lazy, gutless player. He fits the "only when I'm in the mood" phrase. |

I agree Okposo is the best fit...he is also Boesers favorite player I think the price will be higher though and he won't sign here |

I think Okposo gets around 6/33. I'm gonna say Loui gets 5/32.5. Vancouver is attractive for a guy like Okposo |

Probably about right although I think Okposo might get more as he is younger and brings some physicality as well. They will both get paid with term |

Is Stamkos off the Leaf market now? A little over 5 mil in space with 20 players signed. |

IF he signs here then I would think it's because of the twins. Aside from that, I agree. |

I'm in the Mackenzie camp. Stamkos to buffalo. Play near home without dealing with azzholes like Simmons, Cox and Healy on a nightly basis. They are also 2 or 3 yrs ahead of Toronto in the rebuild
Also was amused at tabs leaf angle on LeBron and the Favs winning.
Also as a not huge fan of basketball fan, what a game last night. Such a arrogant bunch the GSW are. Glad to see Draymond Green lose |

Leafs also have more cap than that. Buyout of Cowen coming, they should have a solid 10-13 million to play with. |

The sooner you come to terms with managements plan the easier it will be to exercise patience. A full rebuild is never going to happen while the Sedins are here. Aqulini would never sign up for 5 -7 years of being the Leafs or Oilers - CanuckDon
For the better I'd say |
