And to be totally fair, the fans that come to this blog are a lot smarter than your average twitter follower. I mean, have you seen some of the dopes on Sabres Facebook? They're incredible.

Hey, what doesn't work for you guys may work for us. Maybe he's different this time around. Maybe he learned a few things. And to take into consideration, he signed up to coach a team that is led by players 25 and under. And among those players, a majority are under 22. We'll keep the optimism as long as possible. But, I do see where you're coming from with his stint with the Pens.

Vesey is a Panarin-like kind of steal that helps boost a team immensely if you can sign him. Buffalo has several things to offer including top dollar, friendship (Eichel) and vicinity to home. It's worth the gamble no doubt, especially considering they still have more picks than most teams in the first 3 rounds.

So does Toronto. The money will be the same from everyone so that isn't a factor. Talking to Vesey first means nothing in my opinion. If he wants to go to buffalo to play with his buddy he will do so and you could have saved a third rounder.

You would think his Dad would have the most knowledge of the situation and he said as of Sunday the plan was to wait till August and become a free agent. Buffalo might get him or might not, but I think they wasted a good draft pick for nothing.
