the Vesey one is different because he didn't become a UFA till so late in the game. you can't base your roster moves in july based upon thinking you are going to get or not get him.. so GMTM got the rights so that he could know one way or the other and make better decisions about roster moves in early july. at least i assume that to be the case

Yeah I think he has one of his boys staying there keeping an eye out but it is a gorgeous house. The wife and I almost bought a house across the street from him a few years back but the commute was too far for my liking.

Depending on where your commute is to, absolutely. Don't forget, I grew up even further south of that in Angola. Even having to commute into Hamburg in the winter can be brutal. I loved growing up there, but at this point in my life, I'm all about convenience. If I ever did have kids though, I'd think about moving out further again though.

I bet the UFA gates don't open on July 1st until Stamkos makes a decision either.

Everyone that thinks they have a chance will have ot make moves in the mean time and not go to plan B and C and D.

Or if a team in your division gets Stamkos then you will have ot make moves to be more aggressive to compete.

I don't really see any situation where Stamkos is not in our Division next year.

Line 1 would atleast have Stamkos-O'Reilly
Line 2 would atleast have Eichel-Reinhart

As we stand right now Ennis and Kane would be the other 2 in the top 6

I look at it this way, for NEXT season (2017-18):

Vesey-Eichel-Reinhart There I fixed it
Kane-Stamkos-Bailey
Ennis-O'Reilly-Fasching
Foligno-Schaller-Larsson

Is Vesey a top RW? Probably not. Is Bailey a top 6 RW? Maybe not. But this is how I see us copying Pittsburgh this year. You have 3 lines that all have a good center and wingers who can (hopefully by that time) score. If Bailey and Fasching grow like that they will be cheap options.

P.S. don't put too much stock in the order of the lines. If you want Stamkos and ROR's line above Eichel it's still the same thing

It's kind of weird that that's the case isn't it? Or at least it seems that way to me. A friend and I were talking about it the other day. It's one of those things where I guess I didn't really look at it that way at first, probably because I'm used to him being in the division already
