12mil a year, how's that for logic. The team is being built properly. We don't need Stamkos doesn't fit the build. Vesey, or another LW, and a scoring D man (Shattenkirk would be a good candidate), and we'll be fine.

Is it really worth giving up an asset or two for three days?

I am not sure Tampa would even want to trade his rights. There still may be a mutual interest between the two. And if Tamp is seriously trying to trade Bishop, it is for Stamkos.

I would think that Tampa would want the time to see if they can trade Bishop.
