My point is, if that tweet is true then, TB is loaded for bear. You'd think he'd just take the 8.5M that was supposedly offered to him to stay in TB.

I personnaly don't think he gets long with Cooper and is looking to move and see's Buffalo as his best option. He will get paid good here.

Okposo is horrible and not worth 6 mill a year, I guess some didn't learn by watching Moulson.

No Datsyuk, Zetterberg is a shell, Franzen is a 3C, Kronwall is a 2nd pairing guy at best. Mrazek is very good though. SOme good kids coming up.

Maybe Stamkos as 1C is exactly what they need.

I'll disagree with this a bit. A few more wins last year and we're in. So now you have a potential full season from Lehner, Eichel and Reinhart with a full season under their belts, and the whole team with a year under the coach in the system. Add in another winger and a defenseman and I think you can sneak in. You're not making any noise and you need to claw your way in, but I think you can at least be close.

I feel like it makes us a lot closer. As TM said.. one win per month more than last year and we would have been in the playoffs.
