Agreed. 6 seasons in the nhl now potential is now reality he is what he is. For the right price, hes a welcomed addition but hardly solves our D concerns long term because if they want to win they will definitely need someone better.

I hate how the NBA draft teams make a pick then trade them twenty minutes later

Wilson just floated a trade on the Pens blog of Tyson Barrie going to Pittsburgh for Patrick Hornqvist, Derrick Pouliot, and Eric Fehr. What is our equivalent of that? Girgensons and Pysyk? Would anyone make that trade? Barrie is younger than Shattenkirk and is averaging 13 goals and 34 assists the last 3 seasons.

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't our Murray GM and Anaheim's Murray related?

I wonder if our new asst coach Bob Woods worked with the Ducks young dmen like Fowler.

You have untill Oct 1st to be Cap compliant. Could sign stamkos and then move datsyuks contract to get under the cap

Trade 8+ for Shatt, screw Fowler, then if Stamkos doesn't work out go after Hoffman.
