I live in Milton currently. In the middle of Toronto and Buffalo with each being an hour and an hour and a half away respectively. Buffalo is not as bad as my fellow Canadian counterparts make it seem. Each city has their own respective dirty areas and great things to offer respectively. This website however is called "Hockeybuzz" the last time I thought so I agree with the quoted tweet above.

I used to play hockey and soccer in Milton. Great town. I can't believe how large it is now compared to when I used to live in the area.

Regarding this Leaf/Sabres thing - I hope the Sabres draft Nylander at #8. Can you imagine the rivalry between the Leafs/Sabres in about 2 years when we are both good? A Leafs/Sabres game in the 2017/2018 season could feature the top two American centers, the Nylander brothers, Risto vs Reilly and a couple of giant European goalies....It has the chance to be a great rivalry again. But make no mistake, the Leafs biggest rivalry will never be the Sabres. It will always be the Habs followed by the Senators. The Sabres could be #3 if they both develop into good teams.

Lot's of Leaf fans don't want Stamkos at his 10mill price tag (I do).
If he goes elsewhere, it would suck missing out on him but I would be over it as soon as I heard and wish him the best of luck. He is a great hockey player and seems like a good person too.

We have a 2nd, and a few 3rds...
But I'd assume the Ducks want something better
It's prob why a deal hasn't been done yet

Idk if Murray is willing,
But I still think that Fasching is our best trade piece
And we could afford to give him up too
Especially if we think Vesey will sign

All things being equal (or close to it), I highly doubt Stamkos chooses Buffalo over Toronto. I think it would take a serious overbid, like $12Mill plus to sway him.
