i am not holding my breathe on him signing in buffalo.. but he could look at how things worked out with Kessel and think longer about going to somewhere else.

I agree. I don't think Buffalo has anything special that other teams don't have. It just depends what he thinks is best.

I see people saying they don't want to give up Fasching but throw Girgensons name out there as a guy we could trade. Are these people saying Girgensons had one bad year and now he is less valuable than Fasching? I'm not buying it.

I mentioned last night another D man is in play even if we trade for Fowler. It can go either way with the 8th pick, he will make the pick or move he doesn't seem to care either way ( the 8th pick is not worth Fowler IMO).

Agreed. It has been amazing how people have given up on him. He was our best player (not saying much) as a 21 year old two years ago.

Probably a little late to the game...but looking over the draft order I just realized that 5 out of the first 6 teams are Canadian teams.

Been a rough one for the Canadians...

- American wins Hart and Art Ross
- Russian wins the Calder and Rocket Richard
- No Canadian teams in the playoffs, most were basement dwellers
- Phil Kessel gets to raise the Cup

Pretty much. Just like Larssons is the second coming after stringing 20 decent games together at the end of the season.
I think they both are what they are and i actually like them both.
