That's what I thought. Is the Aug 15th date something that came from him being a college player, or something to do with the trade from Nash?
I assume that since he becomes a UFA on that date, July 1st is irrelevant for him, correct?

July 1st is relevant, because if he wants to sign with the team that owns his rights (Sabres), the signing can't be announced until July 1st. Nobody else can negotiate with him until Aug. 15.

I don't know...Kane's only 24, I liked Bogo when he was in the Peg. You guys scoop up another 1/2 players over the summer/draft etc. you will be a pretty good team IMO

I mean.... no offense.. but our team has the experienced vets needed. The guys on your list there outside of the potential Stamkos.. have about 15 total NHL games of experience besides Reilly.

That is basically their list of guys who could make them EDM. We have no idea.

I disagree about our quality vets but to each his own. Other than ROR I'm not thoroughly impressed. I'm still holding out hope but 35 point vets aren't the quality I want.

That is basically their list of guys who could make them EDM. We have no idea.

Well they do have Laich, Greening, Bozak, Kadri, Komarov, Hunwick, Lupul, Michalek. They've played a few games

If you guys hated Kessel, Nylander doesn't even stand a chance. I do like your core though moving forward. Idk why everyone keeps trying to pin each roster against each other. Both teams have very bright futures and could very well become the LA and Chicago of the Eastern Conference in 2-3 years.
