LeBron James is going to donate 10 million in cap space to the Rangers cause he is the King |

3 days until Stamkos is a ranger. - rangerdanger94
So, if Stamkos signs with the Rangers, how long do they have to jettison enough money to get under the cap? |

Before the 1st game of the reg season.
Edit: but not more than 10% over the cap... |

Thank you very f'n much. Coffee all over the f'n place now - 21peter
As long as it's a reasonable price, not sure why anyone would be against signing Matt Martin. He is 27 years old, hits everything he sees and scored 10 goals last year. |

Word is he's getting 3M per though. That's way too rich for me... |

I was unlucky enough to be in Cleveland for the parade, trying to get to the R&R HOF. The lots were charging $60 to park. Fortunately we walked, but couldn't get a bus back. My poor kid was so tired she didn't want to see Flag. |

I'm all for signing MM, just not at the price he is predicted to sign for. |

So, let's say Stamkos signs on July 1st. Would the Rangers risk going over the cap by 8-10 million without having a few deals in place? |

I honestly am thinking is why they haven't made any trades yet. What is the point of clearing out salary if your not gonna get a big fish like Stamkos? If we see more trades closer to Friday then I will believe it - TPC
