There is no doubt he's a first round talent. The question is whether anybody can get through to him, whether he can be coached. He's an elite skater. He has an elite shot. The measurable are there. The question is hockey smarts, commitment and coachability, which is why you get a guy with his talent in the 3rd round.

But I wanna keep Stepan.... I want to get rid of 2 Canadian's. The Quebecious will love me.

There is no doubt he's a first round talent. The question is whether anybody can get through to him, whether he can be coached. He's an elite skater. He has an elite shot. The measurable are there. Seems this sunk in on him this year. Scouts/ coaches saying he put in the extra work, he got himself into much better physical shape. This could be a huge steal for you guys.

That's a power move by him. He know his mom is a heartless C-you-next-Tuesday. She just killed thousands of people, one of them being his wife. He knows his mother no longer loves him. He would have been left with blood on his hand just by association. Only option on the table was death. Power move.
