I like the dependability and well-rounded aspects of Step's game, but his holding out forced Slats into over paying him by about $1M per.

But I wanna keep Stepan.... I want to get rid of 2 Canadian's. The Quebecious will love me.

No doubt Canadians have the best players, starting to even out a little bit once you get past the top 10-15 players, which is great thing for everyone involved if we want to see the NHL get a little more popular in the US.

I really never understood why hockey wasn't more popular in the US. Compared to any other sport it is by far the easiest to watch on tv.
