One guy to watch for is Connor Carrick. Guy we literally stole from the Caps. Led the Marlies in playoff scoring. Played 3rd pair a bit this year, but I see him having a big breakout next season

I think it was both, and they got something good for him. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying anything against Andersen, just not ready to crown him anything yet. Need to see him play in TO first. A good goalie would be a big help in solidifying that team.

IMO he definitely should be. He was dominant for a 5 year period. Injuries obviously cost him, but it's not like he had a 6 year career.

I don't miss the days of being a budget team. I've seen articles talking about how the salary cap is what is killing the NHL and I look at these teams and know that without it not only would they not be competitive but as a fan why would I go?

Only put up 14 points last year was about to get a raise from his 1.2 mill a year... I don't blame them

That they were. That 05-06 run was magical. 10 years later and it haunts me. I wasn't alive for wide right and I was 6 for foot in the crease and the music city miracle but that 05-06 loss hit me really hard.
